Stocking stuffers are some of my favorite gifts because generally speaking, they are things items which are usually useful and functional. My family loves giving gifts so much that sometimes they will buy stuff that is just that, “stuff.” I love them to death, but no one really needs or wants a 30th deck of cards. So, I designed this gift guide with usefulness in mind. These items are also great gifts because most of these items will not clutter up their place! Let’s get this gift guide started, here are some great stocking stuffer idea
- Srunchies
-
- Scrunchies are HUGE right now, and for a good reason, they are cute and also so great for your hair. Normal hair ties break your hair because they are so rough and this may just be a me problem but my hair gets so tangled with normal hair ties, and I end up ripping some of my hair out. If scrunchies aren’t their style, elastic ribbon hair ties are great as well.

- Nail Polish
-
- Nail polish is such an easy gift especially if you don’t know the person super well such as a Secret Santa. Most girls paint their nails and by getting a neutral color they are going to get a lot of use out of it. It is one of those gifts that continue to keep giving long after the holiday season has passed. My favorite brand is Essie because itis the only brand I have found that is relatively durable. I am super hard on my nails and I can usually expect a coat of Essie nail polish to last at least a week to a week and a half.

- Face & Hair Masks
-
- I really enjoy face and hair masks as most girls do so this is a great gift for most girls. I have been trying to use more natural products on my face because I have noticed the more natural the products the better my skin looks and feels. A brand I have recently fallen in love with is called the Little Barn Apothecary and two of the masks on my Christmas list are the passion fruit + rose enzymatic face mask and the coconut ash + earth deep cleansing mask. The brand is slightly expensive for the portions but I believe it is worth it. There are also great options at your local drug store as well for a lesser cost.

- Notebooks & Stationary
-
- I love notebooks because I use them for just about everything. I use them as a diary, as a place to keep important information, to hold my to-do lists, and so much more. I’ve never met a person that doesn’t appreciate a good notebook, to-do list, or a set of pens. A brand I would love to be gifted currently is Harper and Willow, their products are very cute and affordable and not to mention simple which is more my style.

- Fuzzy Socks
-
- I probably own 20 pairs of fuzzy socks, but I will never say no to another pair because I live in fuzzy socks year round. They are super comfy and keep your feet from having to walk on the cold floor.

- Portable Phone Charger
-
- Everyone, especially a college student, could use a portable phone charger, enough said.
- Perfume or Cologne
-
- I enjoy trying out new scents and brands and I love it when a guy wears a nice cologne. Perfume and cologne might not be everyone’s thing but if you know what the person likes feel free to sneak a perfume or cologne into their stocking to try out.

- Earrings & Jewelry
-
- Earrings are something you just can’t really ever have enough of and they are so small that even 20 pairs of earrings only take up a small corner of a dresser. Just a heads up with this gift is some people might be allergic to the metal used in some earrings so I usually stick to sterling silver.

- Beanies and Scarves
-
- Tis the season of bundling up and what better to cozy up with than soft and warm beanies and scarves. I recently bought myself a Love Your Melon beanie and it is so warm and so soft and happens to contribute to a great cause too. Love Your Melon donate 50% of your purchase to pediatric cancer research so not only are your buying a great gift you are supporting a great cause.

- Gift Cards
-
- What kind of broke college student would I be if I didn’t mention gift cards? Gift cards are a lifesaver because I personally would never eat out if it wasn’t for gift cards because it is so expensive and I honestly either don’t have the time or just don’t want to leave my place. You can get a gift card to pretty much anywhere which means you can make the gift more personal by buying a gift card to one of their favorite places.
I hope this helped you figure out some great stocking stuffers to give your friends and family. Thanks for reading and happy holidays.

I love getting stocking stuffers because I sometimes end up using that more than my main gift.

Great post. I never thought about the hair ties breaking your hair. Will definitely switch out to scrunchies for my daughter. My hair is too wild to be contained by anything. Lol
