“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.” ~Karim Seddiki
This is a recent favorite of mine because I’ve been going through a season of doubt. Doubts myself, doubting others, doubting life itself and its ability to give you want you want. That’s the thing though; life doesn’t give you want, it gives you what you need. For all of you out there also in a season of doubt believe in yourself, and if you can’t do that trust in whatever higher power, it is that you believe in.
“In order to love who you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you.” ~Andrea Dykstra
This quote pretty much speaks for itself but it also speaks volumes. There are parts of my life I have questioned if I would change and at the end of the day those experiences made me who I am, and I’m d*mn proud of who I’ve become.
“Whatever you are, be a good one.” ~Abraham Lincoln
This is by far my favorite quote I have it printed on at least two decor items that I can think of. This is such a simple quote but if you live your life by this quote you are nearly guaranteed to have a good and hopefully happy life.
“You will never influence the world trying to be like it.” ~Unknown
Another great quote that I have no idea who it’s by. I used to hate that I was so different from most people because it limited the friends I have and still does. I know who I am and don’t question it and it is something that when you embrace it, is so freeing.
“Strength grows in the moments you think you can’t go on, but you keep going anyway.” ~Unknown
This quote is very accurate in regards to exercising but even more true in regards to life. Just stick it out, and you will more than likely see the light at the other side and bask it giving waving goodbye to the storms you just walked through.
“Nothing holds you back more than your own insecurities” ~kushandwizdom
This quote goes along with believing in yourself and also hits close to home. I’ve struggled most of my life with acne as well as a nose that is slightly deformed that to other people isn’t necessarily obvious. The acne is something I’m still working on but it used to keep me from living my life. I would say no to hanging out with friends simply because I was ashamed of my skin. That is so ridiculous! Most people have experienced acne, and it won’t be the first thing a person will remember about you. All you need to know is that you are good enough and you are beautiful. Live your life!
