Outdoor Spring Activities

Spring is one of my favorite seasons to do things outside because it is just the right temperature. I guess I’m like Goldie Locks, if it is too cold I’m not happy and if it’s too hot I’m also not happy. So spring is my favorite time to get outside and do things. Today I will be sharing with you my favorite things and activities to do outside in this gorgeous spring weather. Also, side note, I realize not everyone has amazing spring weather because just the other day Kentucky dropped form near 70’s to mid 30’s. Aside from my little tidbit of a rant session lets get into things!

1.Have a Picnic

If you have even semi-decent weather where you live, this is the least you can do to actually cherish and enjoy the nice weather. Get you a couple friends together or your significant other, pack up some delicious snacks, and head to your favorite outdoor location. There is a lake about 40 minutes away from where I go to college and it is my goal before I graduate to have have a picnic by the lake.

2. Take a Hike

Going off of the lake that is near me, find a hiking location near you an have at it. The benefit of spring weather is that you won’t sweat the second you get to hiking because its generally between the 50’s and 70’s which is the perfect temperature to do anything outside in my opinion.

3. Have a Garage Sale

We’ve all heard of spring cleaning, either we love it or we hate it. Spring is the time to declutter the house and get rid of all of things you no longer need, want, or fit. It is also a great way to make a little extra side money so that you can have a little extra money in your wallet or to treat yourself to something you have been wanting.

4. Go Mini-Golfing

Okay, who doesn’t love a good game of mini golf? Put your putt putt skills to the test and prove who is the best putt putter of them all! If you can’t tell, I really enjoy mini golf. You can also follow up with some arcade fun and pizza after a match or two!

5. Find an Outdoor Workout

Take your workout outdoors with an outdoor boot camp or yoga class! You can even make your own workout circuit and plan out a workout for your squad if there isn’t a class in your area or if classes just aren’t you thing!

6. Plant a Garden

This goes out to all my plant and flower lovers and even my food lovers. Gardens are great for so many reasons and not to mention, they save you money if you keep up with them! Get some seeds from your local gardening center, claim a plot in the backyard, and start digging. In no time, you’ll have a great source of delicious produce anytime you want or beautiful flowers to look at and enjoy. Once your first harvest is picked, be sure to invite friends or family over for a home-cooked meal!

7. Go for a Bike Ride

This is so simple, but also so enjoyable! Get out that bike that has been sitting in the corner of your garage all year and take it fir a spin. Don’y have a bike?

8. Go for a Walk

This is so simple but it just one of those things that makes you appreciate the little things and think about life. If you have a furry friend that enjoys walks be sure to take them with you! It’s a great way to get moving without feeling like you are actually exercising.

This is a great time to tell you this post was a collab with Soy Virgo and you should go check out her post, Indoor Spring Activities!

  1. I love garage sales lol
The one thing I don’t like about Spring is the fact that fall and winter is over. I don’t like sweating or being out in the sun too much lol
Thanks for collaborating with me ❤
